The Comfort of Friendship

 

For the past three years, I have been a part of an incredible journey at Stanstead College, 这段经历不仅为我提供了许多个人成长的机会，也成为我一生友谊的源泉.

 

When I reflect on my time here, 我可以自信地说，我在斯坦斯特德大学的旅程中最有价值的方面不是用在课堂上花费的时间或完成的作业来衡量的, 但真正的本质在于我遇到的人和我们一起创造的回忆. 

 

Upon initially considering Stanstead, 我不知道这短短的三年会有多大的变化，也不知道我是如何建立起如此牢固的友谊的, 塑造了今天的我，并影响了我未来渴望成为的人. 

 

我想每个人都会同意，像斯坦斯特德这样的寄宿学校在某种程度上是独一无二的，与其他任何一种成长中的青少年的生活方式都不同. In the boarding school lifestyle, 你沉浸在一个24/7的时间表中，不得不屈服于完全改变生活方式. Living at a boarding school, 你与你的家人和你熟悉的支持系统分离了, 迫使我们快速成长，在很小的时候就变得自给自足.

 

这让我意识到依靠你周围的人的安慰和支持是多么重要. In the absence of our families, friendships take on an even more significant role, providing solace and a sense of community. 寄宿学校要求我们比在其他地方更多地依赖朋友和老师. 你还能去哪里发现你的数学老师在晚上哄你上床睡觉?

 

对这种支持表示感谢常常被忽视，但这是至关重要的. 我们必须承认并感激我们周围的人为我们所做的一切. As we navigate the ups and downs of high school, 我开始明白，当你度过美好的日子时，有人与你分享旅程并感激他们的重要性.
